Celestia chrashes when I double click or right click.

Hello. I've been using Celestia (1.6.1) for several months now, and I just downloaded a whole lot of addons for it. Now it crashes whenever I right-click or double-click. It might be a problem with an addon, but since I have so many to look through, I wanted to make sure that there isn't already a quicker solution for it on here. I don't think that it is a problem with my windows computer though, because I have plenty of disk space and 6 GB of ram.

Most crashes of Celestia are caused by bugs in the computer's OpenGL graphics driver. Loading many large Addons is likely to exercise the driver in ways unanticipated by its authors.

First, update the graphics driver using the latest version available from the manufacturer of your graphics chipset -- usually Nvidia, AMD or Intel. Drivers can be downloaded for free from their Web sites. Some laptops require drivers with proprietary modifications made by the manufacturer of the computer. They have to be downloaded from the Web site of the company that made the computer. OpenGL graphics drivers obtained from Microsoft's update service tend to be obsolete and buggy.

If you still have crashes after updating the graphics drivers, then you will have to disable individual Addons until you find the culprit. Please let us know which one it is and where you got it.

all the addons should be only in one folder celestia/extras/???????
( some of my older ones still get installed into "celestia/extras" and "celestia/textures/hires/??")

it should be easy to figure out

temporally move them out of "celestia/extras" and move them back in one at a time

Ah... One addon has a 3d model that needs to be in the models directory. Works now.
